I've been a professional landscape and wildlife photographer for ten years, and I travel all over the world to explore the mysteries of nature, and to bring back compelling photos which tell the stories of my subjects.

I recently used Tamron’s 150-600mm lens in a variety of environments, including Yellowstone National Park and Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in the US. There I had the opportunity to photograph a number of species in often challenging weather and light. The 150-600mm rose to the challenge, and easily exceeded my expectations.

Its 150-600mm focal length range gives me the flexibility to easily alter my compositions, allowing me to zoom in or out as needed to perfectly frame just about any subject.

With quality optics, I know that my photographs will be rendered sharp, allowing me to pay attention to what really matters: making art. The lens is also a lot smaller and lighter than many super-telephoto lenses, giving me an incredible focal range in a relatively small package. The lens’ vibration compensation mode allows me to handhold when the action is moving fast and still get professional results.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of this telephoto zoom: you get a lot of "bang for your buck" with this remarkable lens.
