Tamron VIP Club: How to become a VIP Club Member
The VIP Club rewards loyal Tamron photographers, videographers, and hybrid creators in the USA and Canada. To join, you must buy and register multiple qualifying Tamron lenses.
Launched in 2018, the VIP program has over 1600 members in the USA and Canada.
How to register as a VIP.
If you have a Tamron lens, you can register it for warranty and VIP benefits on the Tamron website. Tamron lens registration provides you with access to special benefits and services. Simply visit the online registration page to complete the process.

Three Tamron VIP Club levels exist: Silver, Gold and Platinum.
VIP exclusive benefits for members.
As a VIP member, you will receive discounts on your next lens purchase. You will also get savings on repairs if needed. Additionally, you will have access to exclusive Facebook and Instagram groups. You can enjoy discounts and early registration for Tamron excursions, Tamron SWAG, and more.
Benefits for each level.
Each level receives welcome and annual gifts, Membership Level VIP Card with VIP number and lanyard, TAMRON Magazine subscription. In addition, each level receives:
Silver Benefits: Owners of Tamron lenses who have purchased and registered three to four lenses between May 2011 and January of the present year qualify for the perks of Silver level membership.
• The above benefits plus:
• $50 USD / $65 CAD bonus rebate each year of Silver status towards any Tamron lens
• 10% discount on non-warranty repairs
• $500 USD Excursion workshop discount
• 3-days advanced registration notice for Excursion workshops
Gold Benefits: Owners of Tamron lenses who have purchased and registered five lenses between May 2011 and January of the present year qualify for the perks of Gold level membership.
• The above benefits plus:
• $75 USD / $100 CAD bonus rebate each year of Gold status towards any Tamron lens
• 15% discount on non-warranty repairs
• $750 USD Excursion workshop discount
• 4-days advanced registration notice for Excursion workshops
Platinum Benefits: Owners of Tamron lenses who have purchased and registered six or more lenses between May 2011 and January of the present year qualify for the perks of Platinum level membership.
• The above benefits plus:
• $100 USD / $135 CAD bonus rebate each year of Platinum status towards any Tamron lens
• 20% discount on non-warranty repairs
• Lifetime Limited Warranty on any new lens purchase from year of Club induction
• Free shipping on repairs (Tamron Americas will send a pre-paid shipping label to receive your lens)
• Free 2-week lens loaners (current lenses only, if available, with signed loaner agreement)
• $1,000 USD Excursion workshop discount
• 5-days advanced registration notice for Excursion workshops
Tamron Excursion Workshops.
Tamron VIP Club members can join Tamron Excursion Workshops at a discounted rate based on their level of membership. Check the events page regularly for newly added excursions.
Annual VIP Registration Review and Club Establishment.
Every year, we review VIP membership. We add new members who meet the requirements. If applicable, we will raise the level of current members.
VIP Club members will get an email notification every year around February 15th. The system will send the email to the email address they used to sign up for their lens.
All members must confirm their membership every year. Confirmation includes the confirmation of the member’s current shipping address. We will not send membership kits if you do not confirm your membership.
